Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, makes a move to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld. From melting makeup to filming in freezing temperatures, Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti talk about getting into character during the making of “The Penguin.” Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of the Penguin smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022), but it was unsuccessful.

Featured in Graham Norton I liked: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). I’ve been waiting for The Penguin ever since it was announced that it would be a series, and I can say that it’s every bit as good as I expected.
Plus, Cristin Milioti is just as good as Sofia Falcone
He excelled in The Batman and is even better in a lead role. The two fight to see who is the number one gangster in Gotham and to “bring order to all the chaos.” Some were worried that a supporting character like The Penguin wouldn’t be able to carry a show and wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne, but fear not because this is more than just a villainous character in a superhero show, it’s a great cop drama in its own right.
I hope we get more stories like this from this world
