Synopsis
Tarrell Rhoden (Andre Holland) is an American artist who lives with his singer-songwriter wife Aisha (Andra Day) and young son Jermaine. His works of art extract beauty from the suffering of his past, holding back deep wounds. His path to success is derailed by an unexpected visit from his ex-father, La’Ron (John Earl Jelks).
